Welcome to Beaux Chevaux Cellars. Here you can learn about our wines from the Sierra Foothills Gold Country, one of the oldest winegrowing regions in California.
We are a small winery, currently producing fewer than 900 cases yearly. Our estate vineyard, Beckman Vineyards, located in Calaveras County at an elevation of 2,400 feet, has sourced Zinfandel, Syrah and Cinsault to area winemakers for nearly two decades.
Our label reflects a brush stroke of the hills surrounding our vineyard. Alice Walker's poem "Horses Make a Landscape More Beautiful" inspired the addition of our three Beaux Chevaux (Beautiful Horses). We endeavor to capture the essence of what is both wild at heart yet capable of expressing itself in myriad fanciful ways if nurtured by caring hands.
